Sharps Safety Training
This course is intended for all those who may be at risk from contact with discarded hypodermic syringes and needles in the course of their work, especially those responsible for safe collection and removal of sharps, and those who manage or supervise them. This will include those visiting residential premises for housing, social work and care purposes, workers engaged in refuse collection and disposal, building maintenance and refurbishment, house clearance, amenity horticulture and street cleaning, as well as park rangers, community wardens and a wide range of community volunteers.
To deliver this 1½ hour course on your premises, inclusive of course handouts and certificates of training, costs £185 + vat, for a group of up to 20 staff, plus a travel charge where applicable. Where suitable premises are available, the course can be extended to include a practical search and removal exercise for smaller groups.
