Bill Troke-Thomas is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) as a health & safety trainer, to deliver a range of their nationally-recognised health & safety qualifications.

He holds the National General Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health, with Distinction. He acquired extensive practical experience of health & safety before qualifying to teach others. He worked in three industries with particular safety problems; Construction, Forestry, and Chemical Manufacture, before a long career in the police service. In latter years, this involved management responsibility for the safety and welfare of several hundred personnel, from front-line staff facing the risk of violence to office-based staff surrounded by more traditional but no less serious hazards to their well-being.

For the past 11 years we have delivered training throughout the UK for clients in both public and private sectors. Public sector clients include NHS Trusts, Local Authorities, Universities and Schools,  Housing Associations, Government Agencies and Professional Regulatory Bodies. Private sector clients of all sizes include those engaged in manufacturing, construction, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, communications & media, education and leisure.

Understanding that many adults find a classroom environment intimidating, we are very conscious of the need to create the conditions where each participant can contribute freely and gain the maximum benefit from the course.
