Principal Trainer - Bill Troke-Thomas
Bill Troke-Thomas is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) as a health & safety trainer. He holds the National General Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health, with Distinction. He acquired extensive practical experience of health & safety before qualifying to teach others. He worked in three industries with particular safety problems; Construction, Forestry, and Chemical Manufacture, before a long career in the police service. In latter years, this involved management responsibility for the safety and welfare of several hundred personnel, from front-line staff facing the risk of violence to office-based staff surrounded by more traditional but no less serious hazards to their well-being.
Understanding that many adults find a classroom environment intimidating, we are very conscious of the need to create conditions where each participant can contribute freely and gain the maximum benefit from the course.
Based in Surrey, we deliver training throughout England for clients in both public and private sectors. Public sector clients include NHS Trusts, Local Authorities, Academic establishments, Housing Associations, a Government Agency, Professional Regulatory Bodies and an Inner-city Partnership. Private sector clients of all sizes include those engaged in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, agriculture, communications & media, education and leisure.
